Energy-efficient machining machines
As part of the Saxony-Anhalt ENERGY programme, our company has applied for funding in accordance with the guidelines on the granting of grants to promote measures to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies in the company in order to convert new, more energy-efficient machining machines.
High-temperature filter
In cooperation with SMA Sondermaschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH in Magdeburg, MABA is currently working on a WTT project with the overall goal of developing its own high-temperature resistant filter for temperature ranges above 450°C in continuous operation for gas and /or a high-viscosity fluid.
The theoretical modelling and mathematical description of filter behavior in terms of flow control, pressure loss and degree of separation, which is decisive for the success of a future scale transfer of such filters, is the basis of a corresponding product innovation.
The project will be financed, among other things, from the programme of the Land of Saxony-Anhalt to grant grants to support projects for the transfer of knowledge and technology.
Development, construction and realization of temperature-controlled rolling embossing modules for micro- and nanostructuring
In the growth core of Potential KoMiNaKu, the Fraunhofer Institute for Materials Mechanics IWM Halle as a research institute and 5 companiesfrom theMediumGermanChemistryTriangle (Halle, Merseburg and Bitterfeld)have joined forces to transfer together the promising research results of theIWM on the micro- and nanostructuring of polymers into an industry-oriented technology for the multifunctional surface modification of plastics. The aim of THE MABA in the joint project is the technical development, construction and realization of a temperature-controlled aluminium embossing roller (full material roller or embossing sleeve)for the micro- and nanostructuring of plastics.
Process and plant for the production of fine-grained metallic granules
MABA Spezialmaschinen GmbH wants to develop a plant for the production of metallic granules. For this purpose, the starting material in the form of "metallic rods" is melted in a reactor using electrical energy and then atomizes the melt. The rapid and targeted solidification of the liquid metallic particles results in a granulate as the starting material of other technological processes.
The project will be financed, among other things, from the programme of the Land of Saxony-Anhalt to support individual, community and collaborative projects in the field of research, development and innovation.
